Date: Sunday February 25 Time: 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Location: Central Lions Recreation Center There is a $10.00 trout fee to help pay for the cost of the gym rental. The Capital City Basketball Academy Club is a non - profit organization which offers an opportunity for female athletes to continue to develop their basketball skills and game play during the spring basketball season. Our Coaching Philosophy is to develop the player’s skills and game strategies and that all playing time will be equal in league and tournament round robin games. If your child is selected for the team a $150.00 commitment payment must be made to confirm your child’s position on the team before the end of the week, E-Transfer to craig.frizzell@hotmail.com. Each team will consist of 10 to 13 players. We will have as many teams as possible. Teams will play in the EYBA Spring League or the Jasper Place Spring League starting April 1st until the end of May. All the teams will also play in 3 to 4 weekend tournaments in Edmonton during the months of April and May. Teams from all over Western Canada come to Edmonton to play in tournaments at the Saville Centre. This reduces costs for travel and accommodation. There will be 1 practice a week: day, time and gym TBD. Players will receive a Capital City Academy of Basketball Club reversible game jersey and shorts. We are the most affordable club in Edmonton. Our fees are directly related to the costs of the tournaments, team wear and we rent City of Edmonton gyms to keep our practice costs low. We expect the 2024 season to cost around $700.00. Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. 25% per athlete is non-refundable (a “full refund” does not include this 25% non-refundable administration fee), regardless of reasons for cancellation. Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE after program has started. Registration fees will not be refunded due to players not being able to attend for any reason.
