Breanne Burgess

Coach

Breanne Burgess will be in charge of the U15 Girls Player Development and A Team, who were the 2018 and 2019 Jasper Place Spring League U15 A Champions, the 2019 Rocky Mountain Hoops Classic, and the 2019 Swoosh Volvo Hoops Showcase Tournament Champions.

  • 2015 to 2017 - Assistant Coach Jasper Place High Senior Girls

  • 2018 to 2022 - Head Coach Prescott Junior High Senior Girls

Coach Craig Frizzell

Coach

Craig Frizzell is the Director of Player Development for U11 and U13. I have a B. Ed. and was a teacher for the EPSB for 35 years. I have coached spring league club teams for the past 10 years and the EYBA for the past 20 years. My last U13 A team was the 2019 EYBA “A” Division League Champions, the 2019 Rocky Mountain Hoops Classic and 2019 Swoosh Volvo Hoops Showcase Tournament Champions.

  • 2004 to 2006 - Northwest Xtreme – U13 Girls A – Gold medal

Eoin Bennett

Coach

My name is Eoin Bennett.  I am 20 year veteran Junior High Physical Education/Math teacher with STAR Catholic school division in Leduc.  I have been coaching Jr. High and High School boys and girls basketball since 1994 in the Edmonton and surrounding areas.  As a father, I have also volunteered to coach several community league teams with Southwest Basketball.   I am looking forward to bringing my 28 years of youth basketball coaching experience to the Capital City Raptors U17 Girls program.

  • 1998 to 2000 - Head Coach Archbishop O’Leary Jr. Boys

  • 2000/2001 - Head Coach Holy Trinity Jr. Boys (2001 Metro Edmonton Premier Division Silver Medal)

  • 2002-2008 - Head Coach Sacred Heart Junior High Senior Boys – LDAA Premier Division Sr. Boys Champions

  • 2006-2008 - LDAA District/Premier Division Jr. Boys Champions 2003 and 2005.

  • 2008-2009 - Head Coach Christ The King High School Jr. Boys (2009 Metro Edmonton Premier Division Champions)

  • 2009 to 2018 - Head Coach Sacred Heart Junior High Senior Boys (LDAA Premier Division Sr. Boys Champions 2011, 2014.  2010,2012- Silver Medalists Community League Volunteer Coaching: Southwest Basketball:  Coached Girls development teams from Minis – U17. U15C Division Provincial Silver Medalists in 2020)

  • 2021 Head Coach for the U15 Girls EYBA All Star team and Southwest U15 Girls “B” team.

  • 2022 EYBA U17 Coach of the Year

  • Presently coaching Southwest U15 Girls “A” team.
